The rules of motorcycling
If you have been riding motorcycles for any significant length of time, you’ve probably picked up on any number of things we say, little truths that have been learned by the people who rode before anyone reading this was likely even born. There are two that have always stuck with me.
The rule here is “bike goes where you look.” The interesting part starts about 30 seconds in.
This next one has no video but we call the rule “dress for the slide, not the ride.”
Both of these can be reduce to a single Iron Rule of Motorcycling. To wit, motorcycling is intolerant of hubris.
It’s summer. Ride safe!
