My muse
is not always creative or original. I have decided I need to kill off my protagonist’s family. You know. For motivation. That has not been at all overdone, has it? I take comfort in what one person told me when I complained that everything I write seems to bear at least some small resemblance to something I’ve read, somewhere. “Everything written is basically just a variation on the Epic of Gilgamesh.” Maybe he was right.
